Governance and Funding Assistance (GaFA) Guide
GaFA stands for Governance and Funding Assistance. The GaFA Guide provides key information for anyone who gives or needs Governance or Funding Support.
Whether a group needs to draft a constitution or a policy, apply for a licence for running raffles, run an AGM, look after the money, applying for funds or understand Full Cost Recovery, the guide pages cover the basics with interactive web links taking you right to the actual application form or resource you need.
A Single Licence costs just £35 per year and includes the GaFA Guide in interactive PDF, upto three updates per year and the right to copy/print key pages as handouts for groups. The first edition comes with a complimentary 1 Gb flashdrive. thereafter all updates are sent via email. The GaFA Guide is ideal for anyone who gives governance and funding support as part of their job or volunteer role. It is a significant time saver, providing access to much needed information at your fingertips.
To further support GaFA Guide users, Hull CVS will run ‘GaFA Xtra’ training days at regular intervals throughout the year at £100 per worker per day – Day 1 Governance and Day 2 Funding. These days are optional and offered as extras to the Annual Licence.
